Nicole is our CCO and founder. She believes in beautiful and utilitarian design. Born and raised in Michigan, she spent 8 years between Los Angeles and San Francisco, before moving back to the Midwest for a 7 year stint, which should come as no surprise just got too cold. She found herself back in sunny California settling in the Bay Area. With over a decade of experience, her award-winning design work has been featured in publications such as PRINT Magazine, Communication Arts, and Pie Books.
Nicole has an affinity for pugs, dedication to exercising, and loves eating food other people cook for her. She received a B.F.A. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and holds both an A.A. in footwear design and an A.A. in knitwear design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Nicole also co-founded Omelle luxury footwear and designed fancy Italian-made shoes, which once upon a time were featured in many publications including WWD and Vogue, and sold in stores around the world. She's an entrepreneur and know's exactly what it's like to launch your own brand.
